A Farming Legacy
Hlefi is home to fertile volcanic soils that yield high-quality maize, cassava, yam, and fresh vegetables. Women-led markets drive the local trade, ensuring food security and rural stability.
Traditional Hunting
In the dense forests and savanna woodlands surrounding Hlefi, traditional hunting remains a vital supplementary livelihood. Skilled hunters navigate forest paths, preserving ancient tracking techniques and providing protein sources for the community.
